After graduating from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1976, Dr. Ross Atkinson received his M.S. degree in Periodontics at the University of Missouri School of Dentistry (Kansas City). After beginning private practice in 1980, he completed extensive training in Dental Implants at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute in Pittsburgh. Committed to the continual advancement of dentistry, Dr. Atkinson has served two terms as President of the Arkansas Society of Periodontists. In addition he serves on staff at the National Park Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Regional Health Center, both located in Hot Springs. He is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Oral Medicine, American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, Garland County Dental Society, Southwest District Dental Society and the Central District Dental Society.
